The following change to the By-Laws will be presented at the meeting for a vote by the membership:
In order to be eligible to vote for the annual elections typically held in the month of April, individuals must have both obtained membership and be paid in full (achieving member in good standing status) by the first day of January before the elections held in April.

Once again, Jefferson Parish will conduct its annual Christmas Tree Recycling Project. Residents are advised to place trees curbside on the evening of Wednesday,
January 9, 2019. Garbage trucks will make one pass through each neighborhood to
collect trees on the 11th, 12th and 13th of January. Prior to placing trees curbside,
trees must be free of all lights, tinsel, garland, ornaments, tree stands, and plastic
bags. Only green trees can be recycled; artificial, flocked or painted trees will not
be picked up. For more information click here.
